Robyn Kuiper, MA, LPC: Waiting List for Virtual Sessions

People ask me why I chose to change careers to become a counselor and the simple answer is I love connecting with people. Being a teacher, wife, and mother has taught that life is all about connection. Students long for a teacher to notice them in the classroom. Teens and adults also long to be validated by adults and their peers without shame. My goal in therapy is to provide a safe comfortable space for YOU to process your story and its challenges, and then work together to improve your mental health and relationships. I would find it a privilege to walk with you through relational issues, spiritual issues, home life/marriage, depression/anxiety, trauma, and grief.

I specialize in working with women, children and teens to address struggles at school or home. I work with couples on marital issues and everyday life challenges including balancing work and family. I also love working with young adults dealing with life adjustments, and transitions into adulthood.

I use an eclectic variety of therapeutic models like Family Systems, Attachment Theory, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), as well as Play Therapy modalities for children.

My family recently moved to the Phoenix area by way of St. Louis, Missouri. I grew up in West Texas and attended Texas Tech University and Texas Woman’s University, where I earned a BS in Elementary Teaching. After years of teaching school and being on a church ministry staff, I returned to college and completed my Masters in Counseling at Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Missouri. I am licensed in the State of Missouri (PLPC) and I am a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) with the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners.

I look forward to meeting you. I accept BlueCross/BlueShield, Health Savings Account, $90.00/therapy hour. Please call for more information or to schedule an appointment: 480-401-2350.
